AI-native company

Starting afresh with today's knowledge:
How small can your team be?

AI-native means processes, data and AI agents are part of the company from day one. Small teams look after customers and ideas, agents handle the rest. We build the company behind your idea with you, at a fixed price and ready to launch in a few weeks.

What AI-native does differently

What would you do differently if you started afresh with today's knowledge?

You would not fill positions first, you would build workflows. Keep data in one system from the start, let customers serve themselves and use people where judgement, trust and creativity count. The result: small teams that achieve what whole departments used to.

  • Workflow first, then the role

Every recurring task is first built as a workflow with an agent. You hire for what remains and needs people.

  • Agents as team members

Research, draft quotes, first replies in support, receipt capture, scheduling: agents work around the clock, with clear rules and handovers.

  • One system, one set of data

Customers, quotes, projects and figures sit in one connected system from day one. No spreadsheet islands that are expensive to merge later.

  • Customers serve themselves

A configurator instead of quote loops, a portal instead of status calls, online booking instead of scheduling back and forth. This scales without new hires.

  • People for judgement and relationships

Decisions, responsibility, negotiation, creativity and customer relationships stay human. That is exactly what the team has time for.

  • Revenue per head as a key figure

Growth no longer means more heads. What is measured is how much value each person creates with their agents.

Comparison

How do classically founded and AI-native companies differ in daily work?

Most clearly in the functions that used to need new staff with every revenue step. We work out together which differences apply to your idea.

  • Sales

    Classically founded

Sales team researches, writes, follows up

    AI-native founded

Agent researches and prepares, a person holds the conversations and closes

  • Quotes

    Classically founded

Costing and quote by hand, days per quote

    AI-native founded

Configurator or agent drafts in minutes, a person approves

  • Customer service

    Classically founded

Hotline and inbox with a growing team

    AI-native founded

Agent answers standard questions around the clock, team resolves special cases

  • Administration

    Classically founded

Bookkeeping, invoices, dunning with dedicated staff

    AI-native founded

Receipts, invoices and reminders run automatically, tax adviser reviews

  • Marketing

    Classically founded

Agency or department for content and campaigns

    AI-native founded

Agents draft content and variants, a person sets direction and brand

  • Knowledge

    Classically founded

Sits in people's heads, leaves with employees

    AI-native founded

Documented from the start and retrievable by asking

  • Growth

    Classically founded

    More revenue needs more staff

    AI-native founded

More revenue needs better workflows, staff grows slowly

Already reality

What individual founders and small teams have already achieved with AI.

Not a vision of the future: these companies show how much an AI-native team can achieve today.

  • 1 founder

    Base44: sold for US$80m within 6 months

Maor Shlomo built his AI platform for apps practically on his own, won over 100,000 users and sold it to Wix in June 2025. He hired his first employee only a few weeks before the sale.

  • 0 employees

Photo AI: around US$1.6m annual revenue, solo

Pieter Levels runs his AI photo studio without a permanent team, with a margin of over 85%. Together with his other products he earns around US$3m a year, with no employees at all.

  • Around 45 people

Lovable: US$100m annual revenue in 8 months

The AI tool from Stockholm reached this figure with a team of around 45 people, which is over US$2m revenue per head. By the end of 2025 annual revenue had grown to around US$400m.

  • No investors

Midjourney: profitable almost from the start

The AI image generator managed without venture capital and without a marketing department, and with around 100 employees achieves revenue in the hundreds of millions.

Figures according to the companies or media reports (including Calcalist, Inc., Indie Hackers, Sifted), as of 2025/2026.

Team calculator

How small can your team be for your revenue target?

Enter your revenue target and planned team size. With the third slider you estimate what share of routine work workflows and agents take over. The calculator shows how many people this would need in the classic way.

  • Worked example based on your own assumptions, not a forecast
  • What share is realistic depends on the business model
  • We clarify this in the first conversation and in the strategy

EU AI ActPeople stay

What stays with people, and what does the law require?

The EU AI Act introduces obligations in stages, for example customers must be able to tell when they are talking to an AI. AI-native therefore does not mean without people: responsibility, liability, decisions of consequence and customer relationships stay with people. We build agents with clear limits, handovers and logs so that you stay in control.

Before we talk

What founders and business owners want to know beforehand.

Your question is not here? In the initial conversation we take 30 minutes for your specific topic.

No. You need an idea, an understanding of the market and the willingness to make decisions. We take care of the technical implementation, agents and automations, and show you how to manage them day to day.

For founders with a concrete idea, for business owners building a new line of business or a spin-off, and for owners who want to rethink their existing company with today's knowledge.

Then you want to know early. In the first step we examine what has to be right and test it with little effort before the complete system is built. After each step you decide afresh.

You do. Systems, configurations, workflows and data belong to your company. We rely on established tools rather than a proprietary build that would make you dependent.

That depends on the programme and the federal state. Many programmes for consulting and digitalisation require an existing company, so the chances are better for spin-offs and new lines of business of existing firms. We check this case by case. As of: 10/2026.

Sharpening the idea takes a few weeks, building the operating system typically 8 to 12 weeks. Many companies start with a first core and add further agents once real customers are on board.
