Calculating and taking out electricity and gas tariffs online
Starting point
After the merger of several municipal utilities, the new brand needed a calculator for electricity and gas that takes availability, consumption and discounts into account instantly.
What does a tariff calculator for municipal utilities need to do?
During the project, a tariff calculator was built that checks by postcode which products are available and calculates the price by consumption with discount tiers.
A dedicated CMS makes the calculator search-engine friendly and maintainable by the utility itself. The order is placed directly in the calculator.
